Part Time Custodian

Pay $18-$20 per hour

 

Harrison County is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented custodial worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across multiple County buildings. Individuals must be reliable and able to work independently. This position is responsible for custodial services in the Harrison County Courthouse, Annex, Public Health Office, Secondary Roads Office, and Law Enforcement Center. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash from offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and shared common areas. Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required. The tentative start date for this position will be November 3, 2025. Property Tax/Motor Vehicle Clerk position

 

The Harrison County Treasurer’s Office has a full-time Property Tax/Motor Vehicle Clerk position available. 

The minimum salary will be $46,974.

·         Must be able to pass a physical

·         Must have accounting experience

·         Motor vehicle experience a plus

911 Dispatcher

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the 911 Director and Lead Dispatchers, provides support to law enforcement, emergency medical services and fire personnel. Position requires ability to handle stressful work conditions; working under time pressure with serious consequences of error in crisis situations, tragedies, and emergencies; and ability to handle simultaneous incidents. Dispatchers are responsible for directing emergency responders to locations in need of assistance, advising responders of potentially dangerous situations, and aiding the general public in times of crisis. This position requires the ability and willingness to work a majority of time without direct supervision, while making sound judgement decisions.
